CarePoint Health’s Ramnik Dhaliwal, William Jared Scott named to leadership positions at Swedish Medical Center

Carepoint Health Emergency Medicine physicians Ramnik “Ricky” Dhaliwal, MD, JD, and William Jared Scott, MD, have been selected for new leadership roles at Swedish Medical Center (Englewood, CO), Swedish Southwest ER (Littleton, CO), and Swedish Belmar ER (Lakewood, CO).
Dr. Dhaliwal has been named Medical Director of the Swedish Emergency Department while Dr. Scott has accepted the Medical Director role at both the Southwest and Belmar freestanding ERs. Dr. Scott will continue to serve as Senior Associate ED Medical Director at Swedish as well.
Dr. Dhaliwal joined CarePoint Health in 2020 as an Emergency Physician at Swedish before accepting the position of Associate ED Medical Director at Sky Ridge Medical Center in 2021. He did his residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minnesota, where he was chief resident. In addition to completing a dual residency in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, Dr. Dhaliwal is also an attorney and serves as CarePoint’s Director of Government Affairs. Recently, he won the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Colorado chapter’s inaugural “Champion of Leadership and Advocacy” award.
Dr. Scott graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine and trained in Emergency Medicine at Denver Health, where he was chief resident. A 21-year veteran of Carepoint, he has practiced emergency medicine at Swedish since 2003. He assumed the Senior Associate ED Medical Director role at Swedish in July 2022.
